This is an example of how popplet can be used to create a concept map. In this example, we referred to standard SM1, which focuses on the properties of the atmosphere. As you can see, there are many subcategories, each of which includes various details. This will help students tie concepts together, which will deepen their understand of this standard.
This is an example of what I view as an ideal classroom for a small group of students. There are multiple ways to present information: the easel by the rug on the left, the projector at the front, and the mobile whiteboard on the right. Not only will this provide more than one way for the students to see the material, but it will also allow the students to move around throughout the class, so that they do not get bored or antsy. There is storage in the back of the room for materials such as lab supplies, math manipulatives, and other things that can help present information in an engaging way.
Because classrooms usually seem dull, I would like to have a window and at least one plant (this classroom has bamboo in the corner). This will put the students in a better mood, so they will be receptive to the teacher's instruction. I would also try to mix up the seating chart, so that each student has a chance to get to know all of their peers. Also, students will be able to help each other when working independently.
Overall, this classroom incorporates a flexible, open design that allows students to move around and receive information in many different ways.

Ted Ed is a great way to organize a lesson for any subject. Here is a lesson I made about the Distance Formula:
